Why did you choose GIST?
i choose GIST because it is only 2 years course and the Tuition fee is affordable.

Why did you choose the program?
Back then Computer Courses is booming, and because i have fashion in learning about computer stuffs

What are the challenges you experienced while studying? (Cite at least 2)
As much I can remember, the struggle I experience is my transportation going to GIST because its almost an hour from our house, I always came late to the point I missed the first subject. I want to have my quarterly exam with my classmates because I don’t want to do the special exam (which is more difficult, I guess) I have struggled in paying my tuition fee because I only depend on my father’s income sometimes we are out of budget.

How did you overcome it? (Explain for each situation mentioned above)
by leaving house super early. (you know jeepneys always stops making a point to have as many passengers they could have). So blessed that GIST allowed me to still have my exam even though
I am always late in paying my tuition. I just need to study more because the exam is much more different.

How do you feel about overcoming the challenges?
It feels goods because overcoming challenges will train you to be a better, flexible, and strong person,

What is your advice to a student who wishes to take the same program as yours?
stay focus and lay it all to God, even there is a lot of distraction or things that it doesn’t goes in your plan, having difficulty in understanding a lesson, tired, exhausted, learn the beauty of pausing for a while and pray entrust it all to God. Cast your cares on the Lord and He will take care of you, He will never let the righteous fall. Psalms 55:22

How did the program help you in your current work/employment status?
I may not work in an office set up, in my starting years as a flight attendant I was able to use my course by easily accessing aircrafts cabin management system, wherein, you have to attend a training for that system and it is for supervisors only. and as a Mom of 2 Homeschooling kids, it is easy for me to teach them about computer stuff. Thank you Lord for the wisdom.

What are the values you have learned in the whole experience?
That what ever life challenge throws on you believe in the power of prayer. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged for the Lord you God will be with you wherever you go” Joshua 1:9
